CE Ski Club Trips

Each year we endeavor to do things special as a club while trying to keep cost attractive. We always make the Club trip day (transportation with lift ticket) significantly less expensive for our club than the cost to the unaffiliated skier walking up to the ticket window. It is one benefit of being in a club.

Club trips are one of our group activities and where a significant portion of the club budget gets allocated. Help us fill the vehicles and expand participation in our group ski days.

Club trips using group tickets create special events for the club.

Trip Policy/Procedure
The objective of this policy is to avoid excessive loss due to late cancellation by participants and recognize the efforts of the organizers.
Reservation: Accepted with deposit of $15 per person.
Full Payment: Balance due is payable on bus by electronic payment or check. Checks are payable to CE Ski Club.
Cancellations:
Deposit will be returned if cancellation is made two weeks prior to trip, OR if a wait-list person takes the reservation.
Last minute cancellation / no show: $15 deposit will not be refunded.
Leaders: Each trip has leaders (adult club members). Leaders provide backup for each other to avoid conflict with business travel, injury, problems, etc. Club supplies CSC tickets for their use.

Since so many members have had busy schedules these past few years, we have been unable to reach our 20 person minimum in order to secure a private coach bus. FEAR NOT, LOYAL MEMBERS! Your CE Ski Club is determined to find methods to get our people to the mountains!

The Bus Company requires the Club to confirm a bus trip 2 weeks in advance. Your club is HAPPY to run organized trips for you based on member commitment levels. Here’s the breakdown:

20+ committed members: Club rents a Bus with a professional driver

8+ committed members: Club rents a Van with a volunteer driver (lift ticket reimbursed for volunteer driver)

3+ committed members: Club will organize a Carpool with volunteer driver(s) (no club reimbursement)

Many of our Trips pick up at the Windsor Locks Commuter Parking Lot on Route 159, located at the I-91 exit 42 southbound exit ramp (make a left at the end of the northbound exit ramp onto Route 159N).
​
Plan to arrive at the designated meeting area at 6:00am. The vehicle will depart at 6:30am SHARP!

Hit the slopes and ski to closing!
​
Target return time to the commuter lot is 7:00pm.

​All bus trips cost $TBD for lift ticket and transportation. Deposits and/or payments will be refunded if cancellation is made two weeks prior to trip.
